Come in ... and be ... Welcome!
Saint Rose of Lima has changed from its previous method of online giving, to a new system. Thank you, very much, to those who helped the parish to implement its first online giving program, better than five years ago, and thank you also to those who had used it! We are eternally grateful and hope you will continue, by changing your method of online giving, to the new system.
All ... parishioners, neighbors, friends, and family ... please consider registering to use online giving, with the new system, instead of weekly envelopes for contributions to our parish. This can be very convenient when you are unable to attend mass at Saint Rose. The system provides you a convenient option that you may access at any time. Your gift will be transferred from your preferred method of payment directly to our parish. There's no need to share any sensitive account information with parish staff.
This system is safe and secure, and simple. You can start, stop and change your contributions at anytime. Sign up by clicking on the "Donations" link in the top menu above. You will then be taken to the new system's website where you can complete the online giving registration form.
Again, thank you, one an all, for your new or continued support of this endeavor!
100th Anniversary Recipes and Memories
Please, submit your recipes and memories for our parish recipe and memory book. Forms can be found on the table in the gathering area. Feel free to use your own paper, if you'd like. With your help, we will be able to put together a cookbook of delicious recipes, as well as a collection of memories of years gone by, right up to the present day.
You can drop your submissions in the silver box on the table in the gathering space, email them to Carole Housum or Becky Reed, drop them in the collection basket or the rectory mail box.
We are excited to get this project under way, but we cannot do it without you.
Prayer Requests / List
See the Sunday bulletin for a list of people to pray for. Our prayers help to bring God's healing grace upon them, and their family and friends. Please, pray for those listed. To submit your own prayer request or that of another, call Becky at the parish rectory at 814-944-8509. Please respect the person's right to privacy and secure permission before placing a name on the prayer list.
Communication — Flocknote
We invite you to register your email and cell phone at flocknote.com or you can text Rose to 84576. This will allow us to send you up to date information on changes within our parish.
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

RCIA means Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children. Christian Initiation is a spiritual journey of adults and children. It is a process by which uncatechized individuals and individuals Baptized in another Christian denomination learn about the Catholic Church. Catholic sponsors who are willing to share their faith experiences with new members and journey with them throughout the process are always needed. Those seeking to become Catholic may contact the Rectory.
